A few roses struggling in the heart of winter
The strange red sun during the day of 16th October 2017 was caused by Saharan sand and smoke from Portuguese forest fires, blown in by Ophelia.

On my way back home from Ecclesall Woods I usually pass by the old boating lake in Millhouses Park. I first visited this place as a child in the immaculate Summer of 1976.
